The Beldon reunion for family and friends was conducted July 18 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Brownstown.

A basket dinner was at noon with meat and tableware furnished by the three Beldon sisters in attendance, Jayne Nierman and Earline Cunningham, both of Florida, and Loretta Hoevener of Brownstown.

The Beldon cake, a tradition, was baked and decorated by Susan Hoevener.

There were 50 people in attendance. The youngest was 1-year-old Troy Swalley, and the oldest was 95-year-old Earline Cunningham.

A letter and pictures from South America were received from the Archie Turner family.

A group from the reunion took a trip to the Jackson County History Center.
