Danny R. Frazier, 59, of Seymour passed away Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015, at home surrounded by his family.

Born Aug. 22, 1956, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Elmer Ray Frazier, who survives, and Evelyn Rosalie Hornback-Carlock, who preceded him in death. On Sept. 24, 2011, he married Christine Miller, who also survives.

He was a member of the 1976 graduating class of Columbus North High School. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and was a member of International Union of Operating Engineers Local 103.

Danny loved trains and architecture and enjoyed spending his free time remodeling and landscaping. He also loved NASA and outer space and always watched the space shuttle launches at Kennedy Space Center.

Other survivors include his children, Steven J. (Teresa) Barnett, Matthew R. (Rachelle) Barnett, Gregory D. (Melanie) Barnett and Randall T. (Lisa) Barnett; six grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; a great-grandchild; and two brothers, Robert Douglas Frazier and Scott Frazier.

Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Joy Carlock.

A private memorial service will be conducted at Voss Chapel.
