Oktoberfest going black and gold

Purdue Pete and Purdue University cheerleader Kate Butt of Brownstown will be joining the Purdue Alumni Club of Jackson County in the 2015 Seymour Oktoberfest parade.

The club will be gathering to meet and welcome their special guests at 11:45 a.m. Saturday at the end of the Seymour High School football field near their float before the parade at 1:30 p.m.

Anyone is welcome to bring their cameras to get their pictures taken with Purdue Pete and Kate Butt.

The club encourages all local Purdue alumni, friends, family and potential future Boilermakers to attend and wear black and gold.
