The eight-week Seymour youth basketball league for girls in kindergarten through sixth grade is having registration from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 7 and 14 in the Seymour High Schools Commons.

On Oct. 19 and 21 there will be a training camp at the Seymour Boys and Girls Club.

The training camp for kids in Grades K through 2 will run from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m., with registration at 6 p.m., while Grades 3 through 6 will take the courts from 7:15 to 8 p.m with a 6:45 p.m. registration time.

There will be a coaches clinic and player draft Oct. 24 at Seymour High School.

Girls will be divided into four divisions based on grade.

Games will be played Mondays and Wednesdays, and there will be an end of the season tournament Dec. 14 and 16.

A $50 cost will cover officials, team shirt, end of season awards and a season pass for all of the high school girls varsity home games.

There will be travel basketball opportunities.
