WINCHESTER

Aaron Scott Caplinger, 35, of Winchester, and formerly of Columbus, died Monday, Sept. 28, 2015, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Survivors include his parents, Dale Abney and Cynthia Caplinger Hobson; and sisters, Nicole (Franz) Harker and Rachel Hobson.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre in Seymour. Burial will follow at the Haw Creek Cemetery in Hope with full military honors.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made at the funeral home to the Wounded Warrior Project in hopes of helping those with post-traumatic stress disorder.
