Homemakers group plans women’s safety program

Jackson County Extension Homemakers groups will be sponsoring a free community outreach geared toward women’s safety at 7 p.m. Oct. 22 at Cornerstone Community Church, 1088 Sarasota Drive, Seymour.

Trooper Tami Watson will be presenting the program, “Situational Awareness.” The program deals with knowing how to protect yourself and your family.

The homemaker groups also will be featuring exhibits of various organizations they support, such as Riley Hospital for Children at I.U. Health and the Indiana Donor Network.

The public is invited to attend.
