The board of directors of Brownstown Public Library will conduct a public meeting at 5 p.m. Oct. 20 to consider adoption of the 2016 budget.

After that meeting in the conference room of the library at 120 E. Spring St., the board is scheduled to meet at 5:15 p.m. in executive session to discuss the purchase or lease of property. Executive sessions are closed to the public.

The board’s regular monthly meeting is planned for 5:30 p.m. that day. Regular meetings are open to the public.
