NORTH VERNON

Peggy J. Murphy, 84, of North Vernon, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2015, at her residence.

Survivors include a son, Mike (Bee) Murphy of Butlerville; a daughter, Mickey Bland of North Vernon; daughter-in-law, Libby Murphy of North Vernon; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Murphy, and son, Pat Murphy.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery.
