Lee Anna Shirley, 81, of Salem passed away at 8:12 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015, at her home.

Born April 11, 1934, in Clay County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Jarmon Davidson and Susie Davidson Davidson. On May 12, 1951, in Uniontown, she married Joe Shirley Jr. who passed away Sept. 30, 2015.

Lee Anna retired from Excello Shirt Factory after working there for more than 35 years. She was a member of the former Christian Missionary Alliance in Crothersville. She enjoyed working in her flowers and gardening.

Survivors include two daughters, Sandra (Jack) Donnell of Crothersville and Stephanie Jo Prewitt of Salem; five grandchildren, Kalee Alberring of Seymour, James D. (Brittany) Prewitt of New Albany, Randa L. (Clay) Petro of North Vernon, Samantha Lea Donnell of Jonesville and Kara Bohall of Seymour; five great-grandchildren, Nehemiah Petro, Asher Prewitt, Gabriel Petro, Parker Prewitt and Abigail Petro; and six siblings, Clayton (Janet) Davidson of Florida, Carol (Jim) Herald, Clyde (Helen) Davidson and Betty (Lonis) Brock, all of Crothersville, Opal (Chester) Peacock of Paris Crossing, and Virgil (Bessie) Davidson of Scottsburg.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Cecil Davidson and Willie Davidson, and a son, Randall Shirley.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Crothersville with Bill Berry officiating. Burial will be at Crothersville Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until time of service Wednesday.
