Braves close regular season with loss

The Brownstown Central volleyball team fell to Floyd Central 28-26, 25-17, 25-19 on Thursday to conclude regular-season play.

On the attack, Morgan Wehmiller made 36 hits on 41 attempts with 11 kills while Danielle Meyer was 19 of 21 behind seven kills.

Richayla Huff led the the Braves from the back line making all 14 serves with an ace.

The Braves (16-14) will play Providence on Thursday in the Class 3A Charlestown Sectional.
