Jackson County commissioners plan to meet at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the courthouse annex, 220 E. Walnut St., Brownstown.

Agenda items include a request from Maria Powell with the Brownstown Chamber of Commerce to use the courthouse Dec. 8 for the chamber’s annual Christmas celebration, which includes a visit from Santa Claus, and a discussion about an ordinance regulating the speed limit in the Shieldstown area.

Trena Carter with Administrative Resources association also plans to give a report about a workforce development program.
