Seymour Evening Lions Club will conduct its 49th annual Halloween Costume Parade at 6 p.m. Oct. 26.

The parade will begin at the U.S. Post Office at Fourth and Chestnut streets in Seymour and continue to the American Legion parking lot on West Second Street.

The Seymour High School Marching Owls will lead the parade. Judging of costumes will be by age and categories.

Categories are best pet costume, best group of three and best band member. Prizes will be awarded in each group and category, and treats will be available to all contestants.
