Theta Omega chapter Phi Beta Psi sorority conducted its October social at Stahl’s Cafe and Deli in Ewing.

Members enjoyed soup, sandwiches and apple dumplings. Places were marked with autumn-colored bags holding candy.

Those getting the lucky ribbon color were Jackie Hill, Dana Byrkett, Jennifer Payton and Jami Mathis. They received gift cards for Ewing Unique, which was the next stop.

Alice Christopher and Doris Baurle were hostesses.

The next meeting was set for this past Monday at the Community Foundation of Jackson County building in Seymour. Chicago bus trip tickets are still being sold, with proceeds going to cancer research.
