NORTH VERNON

Wilbur Eugene Wilds, 82, of North Vernon, died at 12:40 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2015, at Columbus Regional Health.

Survivors include a son, Rick (Jennifer) Wilds of North Vernon; two daughters, Debbie (Daniel) Morin and Pam (Russell) Whicker, both of North Vernon; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Clara Whitehead.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Dove-Sharp and Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.

A Masonic memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Friday by members of Six Mile Masonic Lodge 412.

Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery, with members of the Indiana National Guard providing military graveside rites.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or Six Mile Masonic Lodge 412.
