11th annual Snowflake Bazaar planning begins

0

The 11th annual Snowflake Bazaar will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 12 at Brownstown United Methodist Church, 110 N. Poplar St.

Vendor booth space applications currently are being accepted. Handcrafted vendors are wanted. Last year, there were 40 vendors on site. Applications have been mailed to last year’s vendors.

Six-foot tables are available for rent for $25 for one and $40 for two. Tables and chairs will be provided. There are a limited number of electrical outlets, so specify if you need electricity when you apply.

Setup is by appointment Dec. 11 or from 7 to 8 a.m. Dec. 12. Free-standing backdrops can be used, but nothing can be attached to the walls. Booth rental fees must accompany the application to reserve space.

Space is limited, so early reservations are encouraged, as there always has been a waiting list. Applications are due no later than Nov. 28.

A cookie walk will be conducted by the church, so vendors are asked to not sell cookies. Other baked goods, however, such as breads, cakes or pies, are acceptable. There will be a quilt raffle, a silent auction for themed baskets and a white elephant sale, and lunch will be served.

Margo Brewer is chairwoman of the event.
