Claudine Rowe, 68, of Seymour, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2015, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital in North Vernon with her family by her side.

Born Jan. 1, 1947, in Cookeville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Clyde West and Jewell Ray Koonce, both of whom preceded her in death. On Oct. 30, 1972, in Virginia, she married Ellis Rowe, who passed away June 18, 2014.

Claudine was a member of Dabney Baptist Church and was retired from Valeo Sylvania. She enjoyed canning and watching sports, but her greatest enjoyment came from being with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Timothy Rowe, Rhonda (Roger) Stratton and Matthew (Jennifer) Rowe; grandchildren, Josh and Jacob Rowe, Kaitlynn Rowe and Emmett Stratton; and sisters, Judy Anderson and Betty Edwards.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Voss Chapel in Seymour with the Rev. Michael Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday.
