High school bowling league awards scholarships

The South Central Indiana conference for high school bowling conducted its inaugural Alumni-Student Scholarship Tournament on Sept. 26 at Kingpins Bowl in Seymour.

The top two alumni bowlers received scholarships and the top four student boys and top four girls received scholarships.

Bradley Branson, a former Bloomington North bowler, was the Alumni champion and the runner-up was Joseph Snowden, a former Trinity Lutheran bowler.

Seymour’s Madison Brackemyre received a fourth-place scholarship.

The season-opening meet for the South Central Indiana Conference will be an all-conference meet Saturday.
