The Indiana Department of Transportation will close State Road 258 at the Louisville and Indiana Railroad crossing next week beginning Monday morning for rail repairs.

Motorists can circumvent the closure via State Road 11, U.S. 50/Tipton Street and Community Drive.

Railroad crews are scheduled to be on site through Wednesday, possibly through Thursday morning.

The rail crossing on State Road 258 is located 550 feet west of State Road 11.
