Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews have been scheduled to remove and replace a failed drainage pipe that crosses under Interstate 65’s southbound off-ramp to U.S. 31 at Crothersville.

Work will take place Wednesday, weather permitting. The ramp will be closed from 8 a.m. until early evening.

Motorists are advised to avoid the closure at Exit 36 in southern Jackson County by using nearby exits at Uniontown or Austin.

The drainage pipe being installed measures 24 inches in diameter and 80 feet in length.
