Missionaries Karen Owens of Seymour and Ken and Joyce Gillaspy of Crothersville plan to talk about their time working with “underground and persecuted Christians” during a special meeting at 6 p.m. Sunday at Brownstown Church of the Nazarene.
Tim Toborg, a Seymour police officer, also will be in attendance and will have an active role in this service, according to a news release from Donna Baughman, a member of the church.
The public is invited to come and learn how fellow Christians are “being persecuted around the world and how they are able to live victoriously through it all,” Baughman said.
“This is such a relevant topic, as we have learned in recent months, Christians are now being persecuted in America,” she said.
This service is open to the public.
