Movement-based story time planned at public library

A new movement-based story time for the imaginative child, “Making Moves, Building Minds,” will be offered by Jackson County Public Library.

The program is designed to encourage children ages 3 to 5 to be more aware of their body and build confidence with activities, including stretching the imagination by acting out different animals using yoga poses, games that get them dancing and moving around, creative learning activities and more.

The free class will meet at 10:30 a.m. Thursdays, beginning in November, at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St.

For information or to register your child, visit the Seymour Library Kidz Korner, call 812-522-3412 option 2 or visit the library’s program calendar at myjclibrary.org/events.
