Washington Lodge 13 Free and Accepted Masons’ annual Robert Coffman Memorial Scholarship Fund Fish Fry will be Tuesday in front of the lodge hall on South Main Street across from the courthouse in Brownstown.

The lodge conducts a fish fry on Election Day in May and November.

Meals will be available from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. (unless the food runs out sooner). The meal consists of a fish sandwich, chips and a drink for $6. They can be purchased as eat-in or to go.

Proceeds benefit the fund established for the late Robert Coffman, who was a longtime member of the lodge. Scholarships are awarded each year to the children of Masons who belong to Washington Lodge 13. Since 2011, the lodge has awarded $24,200 in college scholarships to children and grandchildren of local Masons.
