Two Jackson County residents flown to an Indianapolis hospital after they were hurt in a wreck Friday night have since returned home.

April D. Reed, 36, and Michael Starr, 25, both of Medora, were flown to Methodist Hospital after the wreck reported at 11:56 p.m. in the 8200 block of West County Road 225S. Both were released Saturday.

A third person in the vehicle, Steven Eugene Hanner, 42, also of Medora, was not treated for injuries at the scene, according to a report by Jackson County Officer Mark Holt and county Reserve Officer Eric Browalski.

Reed and Starr were injured when a white 2003 Saturn Vue that Reed was driving left the road and overturned.

She was treated at the scene by personnel with Jackson County Emergency Medical Services and then flown to Indianapolis. Starr initially declined treatment but later was treated at his home and then flown to Methodist.

Officer John Long with the Brownstown Police Department and firefighters and medical personnel with Carr Township Volunteer Fire Department assisted.
