NORTH VERNON

Christine Padgett, 58, of North Vernon, died at 1:16 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2, 2015, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital.

Survivors include three daughters, Carrie Ritchie of North Vernon, Patricia Ritchie of Indianapolis, and Julie (Christopher) Greer of Shelbyville; three brothers, Ronald Hacker of Butlerville, Steve (Wanda) Hacker of North Vernon, and Tony Hacker of Commiskey; two sisters, Margaret Susie (John) Anderson of Scottsburg, and Tammy Bowling of Commiskey; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Dale Padgett; and a brother, Johnny Hacker.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, North Vernon. Private burial will be at a later date in Vernon Cemetery.
