Hornets blown out by Clarksville in opener

CLARKSVILLE — The Medora girls basketball team fell at Clarksville 76-17 in Henryville Tipoff Tournament play Tuesday.

Trailing 40-9 at half, the Hornets scored one point in the third quarter before tallying seven in the fourth in the loss.

Jadelyn Dean led the Hornets with eight points and 10 rebounds.

Carley McCammon had five points while Taylor Hunter and Lillian Hatfiled tallied two each.

The Hornets (0-1) will play at Henryville on Thursday for more tournament action.
