Janice Marie White, 55, of Medora, passed away at 11:14 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015.

Born Aug. 9, 1960, in Seymour, she was the daughter of Carl Kriete and Carolyn Sue Durham Kriete Young, both of whom preceded her in death. On Sept. 23, 1995, in Seymour, she married Ernest L. White Jr., who survives.

Janice attended Easyville Church of Christ. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking and being outdoors and loved her cats and dogs.

Besides her husband, survivors include her children, Jelisa (Mark Dillon) Jackson, Rex (Jessica) Miller and Jessica (Jeremy) Wetzel; seven grandchildren, Christopher and Mason Imlay, Dakota, Savanna and Tyler Wetzel and Lynnzie and Jonathan Miller; a special niece, Darla; two stepdaughters; a sister, Darlena (Norman) Engleking; five stepbrothers; a stepsister; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Voss Chapel in Seymour with cremation to follow at Tri-County Crematory.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
