JCB Board of Directors elects two new members

The newest members of the board of directors of JCB and its parents company, Bancorp of Southern Indiana, have been announced.

They are Marshall Royalty of Seymour and Brian Russell of Columbus.

“I look forward to working with Brian and Marshall. Their skills broaden the expertise of our board,” board chairman Jim McCoy said in a news release issued by the Seymour-based bank.

Royalty is a graduate of Franklin College with a bachelor’s degree in finance. He is the owner of three Seymour businesses, including Crane Hill Machine and Fabrication, and serves on the board of Community Provisions of Jackson County Inc.

Originally from Paris Crossing, Royalty began his professional career as a JCB loan officer and branch manager from 1991 to 1994. He spent 10 years at Jay C Food Stores as director of real estate and facility engineering.

Russell is founder and owner of Russell Development Co., which provides commercial real estate services in central Indiana. He has served on the boards of the Heritage Fund, Columbus Capital Foundation and Columbus Area Sports Advisory Council.
