Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews plan to replace a failed drainage pipe at the Interstate 65 Crothersville exit on Tuesday.
The work requires closing the southbound off-ramp to U.S. 31 between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Motorists are advised to avoid the Exit 36 closure in southern Jackson County by using nearby exits at Uniontown or Austin.
The drainage pipe runs under the off-ramp pavement. It measures 24 inches in diameter and 80 feet in length.
Originally slated for removal and replacement in late October, operations were postponed due to inclement weather.
