Knit and Crochet Night planned

0

Beginners can learn to knit or crochet and advanced yarn-crafters can work on their projects together this month during Knit and Crochet Night at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St.

This free drop-in program generally meets on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month, but not on Thanksgiving Day. The program is led by volunteer Georgiann Coons.

Beginners should bring short, size 7 or 8 knitting needles or a size J or K crochet hook and a ball of regular worsted weight yarn to begin to learn either craft. Experienced yarn crafters may bring their current projects or try new patterns furnished to the group.

The group will craft projects for winter use.
