Randy and Patty Burkett Ent of Seymour recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

The couple were married Oct. 30, 1965, at Washington Baptist Church in Elrod.

The Ents have three sons, Rob Ent, Chris (Melody) Ent and Paul (Mirna) Ent; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

The couple recently took a trip through the New England states and are planning a trip in 2016 to Alaska to celebrate their anniversary.
