Rick Charles Spivey, 53, of Seymour, passed away Monday, Nov. 9, 2015, at his home.

Born April 29, 1962, in Scottsburg, he was the son of Jim, who preceded him in death, and Hazel Tompkins Spivey.

Rick was a 1980 graduate of Crothersville High School and employed at Aisin U.S.A. Manufacturing Inc., where he had worked the past 29 years. He was a member of Seymour Moose Lodge 418 and Fraternal Order of Eagles in Seymour.

Besides his mom, other survivors include a daughter, Jennifer Spivey Smith of Scottsburg; a son, Joshua C. Spivey of Seymour; two granddaughters, Emma Lee Smith of Scottsburg and Kailynn Marie Spivey of Seymour; and two sisters, Debra (Kenny) Lewis of Austin and Eileen (Bob) Henson of Brownstown.

The Rev. David Schill will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Friday at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Crothersville with private burial at Fairview Cemetery in Brownstown.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Friday.
