Geraldine Perry, 80, of Salem passed away Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015, at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany.

Born March 29, 1935, in Liberty, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Jack and Mae Coffman Sanders, both of whom preceded her in death. On June 25, 1953, she married James Elmer Perry, who passed away July 9, 1998.

Geraldine attended Cornerstone Community Church in Seymour along with other various churches. She was retired.

Survivors include 10 children, Doris Newby, Janice Roberts, Patricia Burdine, Tammy Reed, Timmy A. Perry, Grant E. Perry, Mary Anderson, Melody Ann Perry, Marvin Glen Perry and Larry Perry; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Jackie Sanders, Floyd Sanders and David Sanders.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, James Wesley Perry; a grandson, Rodney Reed; a granddaughter; a great-granddaughter; two brothers, Lloyd Sanders and Larry Sanders; and a sister, Wanda Burgess.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Voss Chapel in Seymour with the Rev. Kevin Carty officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service.
