Billy Max Hague, 81, of Seymour passed away Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015, at Lutheran Community Home.

Born Nov. 9, 1934, in Seymour, he was the son of Roscoe Wilburn “Rocky” and Mildred Lee “Midge” Prall Hague, both of whom preceded her in death. On July 3, 1963, at First Presbyterian Church in Seymour, he married Elsie Ann Cordes

Billy graduated from Shields High School and Hanover College. He served with the United States Air Force from 1959 to 1965. He then took over the family business, Seymour Motor Sales. Billy was an avid race car fan and loved his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Elsie; children, John Hague and Kristin Ann Hague Goss; five grandchildren, Chaz, Matti and Elle Hague and Delaney and Keaton Goss; and cousins, Jill Boulden and Kim Boulden.

The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Voss Chapel in Seymour with his nephew, the Rev. William Cordes, officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery with a full military graveside service by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled American Veterans and Korean and Vietnam Veterans, all of Seymour.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or donor’s choice of charity.
