Ruth Lorene Cullison Allen Huffman, 90, of Seymour, and formerly of Lyons and Sandborn, passed away Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015, in Seymour.

Born July 18, 1925, in Greene County, she was the daughter of Samuel and Myrtle Sparks Cullison, both of whom preceded her in death. She was married to Johnny R. Allen, who preceded her in death in 1979. In 1984, she married Harold Huffman, who preceded her in death Sept. 3, 2013.

Ruth was a graduate of Lyons High School and worked more than 27 years at the G.C. Murphy Store in Linton. She attended Bethel Church while she lived in Sandborn, and she enjoyed crocheting various items for her family and friends.

Survivors include her son, William L. (Gloria) Cullison of Seymour; stepson, Stanley (Dixie) Allen of Lyons; grandchildren, Amy (John) Koch and William L. (Karin) Cullison Jr; stepgrandchildren, Jennifer Ashcraft, John (Amy) Ashcraft, Julie (Mason) Flake, Kelli Brown and Jeffrey (Adrienne) Hughes; and several great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Carl, Dale, Gerald, Beatrice and Garnett.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Lyons.

Visitation will be from noon until time of service Thursday.

She will be laid to rest next to her first husband, Johnny R. Allen, at Prairie Chapel Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Lutheran Community Home, 111 W. Church St., Seymour.
