JAMESTOWN, Ky.
Leland Ballenger, 84, of Jamestown, Kentucky, died Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015, at his residence.
Survivors include two daughters, Patty (Donald) McKinney of Vallonia and Marilyn (Phil) Patton of Brownstown; two stepsons, Rick (Tammy) Parrish and Rod Parrish, both of Albany, Kentucky; two sisters, Alene Pennington of Dayton, Ohio and Paulette Stoyell of Shepherdsville, Kentucky; three brothers, Johnny Ballenger of Russell Springs, Kentucky, Lindsey Ballenger, of Jamestown, Kentucky, and Gary Ballenger of Columbia, Kentucky; nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Susie Moore Ballenger; and a daughter, Carolyn Wallsmith.
A religious service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown, Kentucky, with Pastor Michael Patton officiating.
Interment will be at Parrish Cemetery in Albany, Kentucky.
