The second Muscatatuck Nature Store open house will be this weekend at Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge’s visitor center.

Hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday and from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

The open house will feature big discounts on the nonprofit store’s merchandise along with refreshments and a children’s craft.

The nature bookstore features educational items, including wildlife guides, children’s books and all kinds of holiday gifts and stocking stuffers for nature lovers of all ages.

All proceeds from the nature store’s sales go to the Muscatatuck Wildlife Society and benefit the programs at the refuge. Muscatatuck Wildlife Society members receive a 10 percent discount of store merchandise. Society memberships also may be obtained that day.

The refuge is east of Seymour at 12985 E. U.S. 50.
