A professor of finance at Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus will present his 2016 economic forecast for Jackson County on Monday during an event at The Pines Evergreen Room.

Ryan Brewer has had his work highlighted on CNN, CNBC and “Inside Indiana Business with Gerry Dick.” He has been published in the Wall Street Journal, Indianapolis Business Journal, Indiana Business Review and Chronicle of Higher Education in addition to international academic literature and various metropolitan business journals throughout the United States.

“Ryan addressed our ‘Reports, Reviews and Rewards Luncheon’ this summer and was extremely well-received,” said Jim Plump, executive director of Jackson County Industrial Development Corp. “At the time, we discussed having him come back at the end of the year to provide his forecast for 2016.”
