The Crothersville Historical and Cultural Arts Association and the Crothersville Lions Club’s annual Christmas in the ‘Ville event will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Dec. 6.

The free community-wide event begins with cookies and carols at Hamacher Hall, 111 E. Howard St., followed by a visit from Santa Claus, who will read “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” and speak with the children. Michele Davis plans to photograph children with Santa at a cost of $1 per photo and the photos will be available there.

There also will be drawings for gift certificates provided by the Crothersville Lions Club, which also will be responsible for turning on the Christmas lights that evening on the northwest corner of Howard Street and U.S. 31.
