Linda L. Brown, 66, of Seymour, passed away Sunday, Nov. 22, 2015, at Covered Bridge Health Campus.

Born May 12, 1949, in Peru, she was the daughter of James and Alice Chambers Aikman, both of whom preceded her in death. She married Edward E. Brown on Feb. 12, 1969, in Peru; and he preceded her in death in 1989.

Linda was a graduate of Peru High School. She received an associate degree in nursing from Ivy Tech Community College. She loved her family and loved her job and taking care of people.

Survivors include her sons, Scott (Melissa) Brown and Aaron “Bo” (Margaret) Brown; three grandchildren, Elena Brown, D.J. Brown and Levi Sheley; a brother, James Aikman; and three sisters, Emma Swindell, Pam Jewell and Cheryl Cox.

A memorial service will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Voss Chapel.
