Dancers Studio Inc. will present the Christmas ballet “The Nutcracker” at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. Dec. 19 in the Judson Erne Auditorium at Columbus North High School.

This year’s performance of the Tchaikovsky classic will feature Mariel Greenlee as the Sugar Plum Fairy and Stuart Coleman as her cavalier. Both dance with Dance Kaleidoscope in Indianapolis.

Coleman is currently a teacher with Dancers Studio and has choreographed Arabian for this year’s presentation of “The Nutcracker.”

The part of the nutcracker will be performed by Grant Jackson, and Clara will be danced by Ella Anderson and Hannah Larson.

The role of Snow Queen will be danced by Katie Hodge, Laura Van Devender will perform as Dew Drop in the “Waltz of the Flowers” and Isaac Joyner, Johanna Anderson and Caroline Luehrmann will perform Arabian.

Herr Droselmeyer, the eccentric toy maker, will be performed by Warren Ward and Bob Anderson.

Tickets are available in advance online for $10 and $15 at dancersstudio.seatyourself.biz or at Dancers Studio for $12 and $17 the day of the show.
