Fred C. Reynolds, 67, of Salem passed away Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015, at his residence.
Born Dec. 8, 1947, in Indiana, he was the son of James C. Reynolds and Ortha Harris Reynolds, both of whom preceded him in death. He was married to Dora Reynolds, who died March 31, 2013.
He worked at Child Craft in Salem for 37 years. He was a member of the Jefferson Township Fire Department in Washington County from 1986 to 2011 and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 655 in Seymour. He loved to work on cars, trucks and lawn mowers, and he enjoyed hunting.
Survivors include a son, Fred C.J. Reynolds of Salem; two daughters, Sandie Reynolds and Melissa Speckman, both of Salem; and six grandchildren, Kelsey Courtney, Esther R. Reynolds, Passion L. Newsome, Cheyenne S. Sanders, Sherene D. Sanders and Aidan C. Reynolds.
Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by eight brothers and a sister.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hague Funeral Home in Medora with Pastor Greg Underwood officiating.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday.
Burial will be at White River Valley Cemetery in Medora.
