Bishop 50th anniversary

Thomas Orville Bishop and Anna Rae Bishop of Seymour will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at 6 p.m. Saturday at the home of their daughter and son-in-law at 911 South Drive in Seymour.

Thomas Bishop and the former Anna Rae Atwood were married Dec. 5, 1965, at First Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Franklin.

The couple have two children, Rebecca (Brett) Hays of Seymour and Tommy (Tracey) Bishop of Louisville; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He is retired from American Greetings in Bardstown, Kentucky, and works part time at The Home Depot in Seymour. He was in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Labrador, Canada.

She is retired from accounting at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville. She loves spending time with her family and great-grandchildren.

Both are members of Mountain Baptist Church in Seymour.

Invitations have been sent; however, all friends and family are invited to attend the celebration.
