Hearts of Home Extension Homemakers Club met Nov. 19 at Mountain Baptist Church.

President Glenda Neawedde opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance and homemakers club creed.

The thought for the day was, “We have committed the golden rule to memory; let us now commit it to life.”

Debbie Shubert gave roll call by asking “How many people do you share your Thanksgiving meal with?”

Susan Robbins gave devotions entitled “When God Asks Us.”

Neawedde gave the group lesson, “Serious Matters You Shouldn’t Miss About Sinusitis,” and passed out information pamphlets.

A Thanksgiving trivia game was played.

Members enjoyed lunch provided by Neawedde as hostess.

A donation was given to Mountain Baptist Church for the kindness to use their facility.

The project for December is to collect socks to be given to seniors.

The next meeting will be Dec. 17 at Larrison’s Diner. Secret pal gifts will be exchanged for Christmas.
