Theta Omega chapter of Phi Beta Psi sorority conducted its November business meeting at the American Legion annex in Seymour, where members set up for the following night’s bingo.

President Joan Trimpe called the meeting to order, Mary Reynolds read previous minutes, Janet Cooper gave the treasurer’s report and Kalee Alberring read correspondence.

Alberring told about the Chicago bus trip, and Michele Lewis talked about the 44th annual dance Feb. 6, which will be at Pewter Hall in Brownstown with the Third Generation Band from Indianapolis providing the music.

Queen candidates are being selected, and they will have their cans out in the near future for penny-a-vote. All proceeds go to cancer research, the sorority’s national project.

It was decided that a portion of the proceeds from the basket bingo will be given to Mandy Hackman Wessel, a local cancer patient.

Jennifer Payton won THETO.

Officers Trimpe, Cooper and Taryn Rockey are hostesses for the Christmas party. The time and place will be announced later.
