The Crothersville History Club invites the public to the first Land of the Free Night at Crothersville High School.

The event will be during Friday’s boys basketball game against Medora, which begins with the junior varsity contest at 6 p.m. and varsity to follow. Those who have served and are serving in the military will be honored.

Military recognition T-shirts may be purchased for $15. All local veterans will receive a free T-shirt.

Nonperishable donations, such as laundry detergent, razors, hard candies and magazines for care packages for Crothersville graduates who are actively serving also will be collected.

All proceeds will go to Wounded Warrior Homes.
