Richard Lee “Dick” Morrow, 66, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville.

Born in Seymour, he was the son of Herbert Lyle Morrow and Alice Payne Morrow, both of whom preceded him in death.

Dick was a former deputy and jailer for Scott County Sheriff’s Department in Scottsburg and a former truck driver for the old Buccaneer Express in Seymour. He was a member of Zoah Christian Church, Scottsburg Lodge 572 Free & Accepted Mason and a former member of the National Reserve Officers Association and Amick-Baker-Kellams Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 156 in Scott County.

Survivors include his son, Nicholas Lee (Amy) Morrow of Palmyra, Pennsylvania; a brother, James E. Morrow of Columbus; three grandchildren, Tiffany, Brittney and Joshua; and his former wife of 30 years, Tammy Boswell Morrow of Scottsburg.

He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Howard Morrow, who died April 21, 1976; his twin brother, Steven J. Morrow, and his brother, Lyle Van Morrow; and a sister, Sandra K. Chambers.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Collins Funeral Home with burial in Zoah Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday.
