Knit & Crochet Night planned at library

0

Beginners can learn to knit or crochet and advanced yarn-crafters can work on their holiday projects together during Knit and Crochet Night at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St.

This free drop-in program meets on the second and fourth Thursdays of most months but will not meet Christmas Eve due to holiday hours.

It is led by volunteer Georgiann Coons.

Beginners should bring short size 7 or 8 knitting needles or a size J or K crochet hook and a ball of regular worsted weight yarn to begin to learn either craft. Experienced yarn-crafters may bring their current projects or try new patterns furnished to the group.

The group will share snacks at this program and conduct its annual yarn swap. Anyone participating in the swap should bring yarn to trade.
