Local United Methodist churches, along with Bethel Community Church, will be conducting a Blue Christmas service at 7 p.m. Dec. 20 at Rockford United Methodist Church, 1934 N. Ewing St., Seymour.

The service is designed for those who may be finding this holiday season difficult as they struggle with grief, loneliness or illness. This uplifting service will focus on God’s hope for us in the midst of our darkness.

Fellowship and refreshments will be available following the service.
