INDIANAPOLIS

Pauline Schmitz, 76, of Indianapolis passed away Monday, Dec. 7, 2015.

Born March 14, 1939, she was the daughter of Ora and Sarah Banister, both of whom preceded her in death.

Pauline was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, John Schmitz; children, Diane (Tom) Tramel of Houston, Texas, Tommy Joe (Sharen) Brock of Franklin and Tammy (Dale) Beechboard of Greenfield; sister, Ruth (Marvin) Maynard of Seymour; and six grandchildren, Jennifer Nicole Baumann, John Leo Baumann Jr., Breann Brown, Edgar Johnson, Zachary (Hannah) Beechboard and Alison Beechboard.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Maurice Banister, Donald Lee Banister and Herb Banister.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East in Indianapolis.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Friday.
