Donations continue to come in for Basket Fund

The annual Christmas Basket Fund grew to $3,384 on Friday with five donations totaling $705.

The new donations are:

» Merry Christmas, $50, anonymous.

» Merry Christmas, Amy Cockerham, $55 , from your Wednesday volunteers — Judy Duncan, Judy Peters, Catherine Montgomery, Barb Otte, Wilma Campbell, Nancy Hawkins, Bonnie Baxter, Susan Valverde, Sue Sipe, Ester Becker and Dave Neuman and dog, Holly.

» In memory of Bob Dirks, $50, from Jane Dirks.

» In memory of deceased club members, $500, from the Kiwanis Club.

» Merry Christmas to our friends and neighbors, $50, from Alfred and Mildred Fenneberg.

Donations can be mailed to or dropped off at American Legion Post 89, The Tribune or any branch of Jackson County Bank.

Businesses, corporations, service groups, churches, individuals or families may donate anonymously if they choose and may dedicate their donations to others.

To receive one of the gift cards, people must live in Jackson County and must submit a letter stating their need for assistance. Requests should be mailed to American Legion Basket Fund, P.O. Box 566, Seymour, IN 47274, and must be received by Tuesday.
